Private Lessons
Private Lessons are now available. We are normally extremely booked up with private lessons, but we finally have some openings now since we just finished a few packages. At times we have a waiting list. So if you would like to schedule a private lesson send us an email, give us a call or approach us at one of our locations.
Private Lessons are one on one or a couple can take a private lesson together with an instructor or you can form your own private group. A private group is a group that you put together and schedule for a private lesson (the lesson is not open to the public, only those you invite can attend). So if you have a group of friends and/or family members that want to learn and you want to do it all together check out all the information below in the Private Group Section.
Private Lessons are designed for those that want individualized attention, privacy, or just want to learn at their own pace. 1 Private is equivalent to approximately 5 group classes. The easiest way to advance your level of dancing is with a private lesson. You can take a private by yourself or with another person at no extra charge. Privates are available with both male and female instructors at the same locations of our group classes. We offer the following packages:
1 private lesson (1 hour): $75
5 private lessons (5 hours): $350 (each hour comes out to $70)
10 private lessons (10 hours): $650 (each hour comes out to $65)
20 private lessons (20 hours): $1200 (each hour comes out to $60)
**Private Lessons with Juan or Christina (directors of Cultural Explosion) are an additional $25 per hour. Juan & Christina train all of the Cultural Explosion Instructors so a private lesson with them is "From the Horses Mouth" as the saying goes. Private Groups
We also offer private group classes for groups of 3 or more who would like to form a group of their own or just make their own schedule. Private Group Prices are as follows:
1 person - $75
2 people - $75
3 people - $105 ($35 each)
4 people - $120 ($30 each)
5 - 6 people - $25 each
7 - 8 people - $20 each
9 - 20 people - $15 each
21 or more people - $10 each
If you do a package of 5 group privates, you will save $5 off the total price of each lesson. If you do a package of 10 group privates, you will save $10 off the total price of each lesson, for a total savings of $100 on the 10 lessons. If you have a big group such as a party or a corporate event we have a base price of $250 per instructor. This is for a 1 hour class and when you hire 2 dancers it also includes a dance performance.
House Calls:
We offer house calls during the day and on the weekends. The price for a house call is the same as our regular privates. The only difference is a transportation fee which we determine by how far your location is from us. In other words if you live 2 hours away the transportation charge would of course be higher than if you live 10 minutes away. The minimum travel charge is $25. What we reccomend is that you schedule a house call with a 2 hour lesson, that way you get the most out of your travel charge. You don't have to do it this way, it's just a recommendation.
